JEE Main 2017 was successfully conducted by CBSE. The offline exam was conducted on 2nd April 2017 while the JEE Main 2017 Online Examination was conducted on 8th & 9th April 2017 in 2 shifts. Around 11 lac candidates appeared in the National Level Examination and the top 2,20,000 will be qualifying to write JEE Advanced 2017.

JEE Main 2017 (Online) Pattern of paper
The pattern was same as the previous year and of the same level as offline exam. As expected after the offline exam this year, Physics was a bit tougher than Maths. Chemistry was way easy, as someone who has prepared for the boards thoroughly or may be had given our mock tests might not have faced any problem

The total number of questions were 90 with 30 questions each in all the subjects respectively. The class wise division of questions was in the same ratio. 45 questions from both Class 11th and 12th syllabus were asked overall. In the online exam, the set EH was skewed towards 11th in Mathematics and Physics while chemistry had a more number of questions from class 11th

The overall JEE Main 2017 paper was moderate. Chemistry Section was easy and the total number of easy questions was 22 and medium questions was 8.
In Physics, 17 were easy 12 were medium whereas in Mathematics 19 were of easy level. One question each was tough in both Physics & Mathematics
